Job Title: Remote Online Notary Company: First American Financial Corporation (Direct division) Location: Remote (U.S., with hours of 11 AM–8 PM PT) Schedule: Full-time hours within that window Pay:$18.00 – $30.00 per hour (employer provided)
Role Overview:
Perform online notarial acts (e-notarization) using approved audio-visual technology.
Verify signer identity and notarize documents according to licensing and escrow procedures.
Support real estate-related transactions remotely with accuracy and compliance.
Must already hold a commissioned Remote Online Notary (RON) license.
Benefits:
Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and stock purchase opportunities.
In this role, you get the flexibility to work from home within a fixed window and solid pay plus benefits—perfect if you’re already a notary and want e-notarization work. On the other hand, hours are fixed and require licensing and tech setup.
I did a short RON stint for a title team, and the biggest game-changer was using a wired ethernet connection and a second monitor to keep the ID tools, journal, and docs visible without scrambling. If you interview, ask what platform they use and how they handle end‑of‑month surge scheduling.
I’d take it if the platform and fees are covered. Quick tip from my RON gigs: a 3-5 minute pre-session call to prep signers for KBA and lighting cut my reschedules in half.
