Why do we ignore details that matter

I’ve been thinking about how we often overlook little details that can make a big difference. For instance, I recently noticed how a poorly chosen font in a presentation can completely shift the audience’s focus. It’s like we’re all trained to skim the surface but miss the nuances that really matter. Has anyone else experienced this or noticed similar quirks?
