Tracking fees over time

But i’ve been keeping an eye on notary fees in my area, and it’s interesting to see how they fluctuate; for instance, I noticed that the average fee went from $100 to $120 in just a span of six months. I’m curious if anyone else has tracked these changes or has benchmarks for different regions. It might be useful to compare notes.

I’ve noticed the same kind of jump — back when I started, fees were more stable, like a calm lake. Now it feels more like a rollercoaster! One thing I do is keep a simple spreadsheet to track my local fees, which really helps spot trends over time.

Tracking those fees can feel like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands! I’ve been noting fee changes in my area as well, and it seems like location plays a big role… @harper_mills91, do you think local demand impacts this too?
