Stamps, coffee, and one confused bagel

Reached for the seal at 6:58 a.m. and notarized my bagel instead. Blue pad, sesame seeds, perfect impression. Anyone else do food before docs?

Been there — my fix was putting the seal in a zip pouch on a separate tray until the first ID is checked; muscle memory learned fast and the ‘perfect impression’ stayed off breakfast. If you try a simple ‘tools left, snacks right’ rule, does it stick for you?

Almost gave my muffin a ‘perfect impression’ once, so I started keeping a thick rubber band around the stamp and don’t snap it off until the first ID is confirmed — slows down those 6:58 a.m. grabs just enough. Think a simple band would trip your muscle memory too?

After “6:58 a.m.” incidents, I flip the blue pad upside down; slows me, saves bagels.
