I built a TextExpander snippet that drops company name, role, and two project bullets in under 30 seconds, so I can push out about 6 tailored apps in an hour. Still feels slow — any faster, non-spammy workflow for customizing resumes and cover notes that gets you to submit in under 8 minutes per posting?
My Alfred snippet pulls company/role from page title; then I tweak top bullets — ‘under 8 minutes’. Mac?
I keep two resume shells per role and a bank of 25 quantified bullets; with a macOS Shortcut that fills company/role and swaps the top two bullets, I’m usually ‘under 8 minutes’ per posting. Small caveat: I still hand-write one new bullet when the JD has a unique metric so it doesn’t read templated. Do you already have a bullet bank, or are you drafting fresh each time?
