A couple of you mentioned carrying a backup stamp and a tiny scanner, so I grabbed a Trodat 4913 and a Raven Compact yesterday; for those doing mobile work around Phoenix, what else is non-negotiable for your bag? I’m trying to keep it under 10 lbs and stay under $150 for this first month.
Add a legal‑size SlimMate-style clipboard and a tiny UV flashlight for AZ IDs — the board gives you a clean lap desk and storage, and the UV check has “saved me twice.” Both are cheap and light; if weight’s tight, swap the board for jumbo binder clips and toss in a small power bank — sound good?
@OP A small 65W USB‑C power bank + short extension cord has been my MVP with the Raven Compact — Phoenix heat kills batteries fast, . You can stay “under $150” with an Anker/Baseus; if you’re mostly in the car, a $20 12V inverter is an even cheaper alternative. Do you already have a way to power the scanner away from an outlet?
Pair that Raven with a small pack of pre-printed AZ acknowledgment/jurat certificates and a mini stapler, @OP… Title still drops the wrong wording — drives me nuts — and having loose certs has saved me from re-signs; costs under $10 and adds almost no weight. I keep 10 in legal and 10 in letter inside a rigid mailer; grab the language straight from https://azsos.gov/services/notary-public.
